Detail

The VarTWOCOLUMNS ... VarENDCOLUMNS (and three columns, four columns) layout are already responsive, e.g. revert to a single column if space is limited.

TWiki:Support.SID-02154 raised the question how to break the column flow with headings.

This is possible with a column-span: all style for headings in modern browsers (except Firefox, not yet supported).

This feature enhancement adds this style to H2 headings (H2 only), so that H2 headings break the flow of columns temporarily (and thus go across all columns.)

See documentation on this style at https://css-tricks.com/guide-responsive-friendly-css-columns/

This feature was discussed at TWiki:Codev.KampalaReleaseMeeting2016x02x18

Funny, this is already implemented as such from the beginning!

Marking as "No Action Required".
