Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

In WebChanges, last author is shown as an unlinked Main.ArthurClemens instead of ArthurClemens.

that's because of the pecularities of this site, which doesn't actually have proper user registration. (we're using the password file from twiki.org, but no user topics exist here).

Reopening it. There is a misunderstanding. I was refering to the unlinked Main.UserName text, it should link as UserName (or UserName? on this site). See WebChanges.

actually, this is a bug in SEARCH - where the default format's username isn't made into a link at all...

and its working correctly in classic skin - off to fix a pattern template then...

crap. why or why is WikiWord a link, but WikiWord (WikiWord) not a link? i've added a space to the template, but really, this is a pile of nasty stinking ...... - and of course is how Cairo works http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Sandbox/WikiWordTest

twiki simply has too many hidden, and pointless exceptions

It is actually documented as such in TextFormattingRules: "CapitalizedWordsStuckTogether (or WikiWords) will produce a link automatically if preceded by whitespace or parenthesis."

This is a feature, useful to escape WikiWord linking. It also prevents double linking, e.g. if a the core or a Plugin renders the same text twice, the WikiWord only gets linked once.
