Version TWiki-5.0.0, Sat, 29 May 2010, build 18859*, Plugin API version
1.3.
Installed
EditRowPlugin and began using it. Upon saving a topic that uses the plugin, I get this error:
Can't locate object method "Vars" via package "TWiki::Request" at /Library/Webserver/Documents/twiki/lib/TWiki/Plugins/EditRowPlugin.pm line 120
I'm guessing version 4 had a Request::Vars() member? I'm going to see if I can debug it and will post back here if I do.

Just wanted to note that I remembered that Vars() is a member of the CGI package. Still debugging.

Glad to see that it's not just me - I'm trying to move our existing TWiki to a new install on a new box. The
EditRowPlugin is vital to our workflow, and unfortunately I'm really not a programmer. I was going to try debugging this, but I'm afraid it will be totally outside my abilities. Let me know if you need any help testing.

Yea, TWiki-5.0 now has its own request and response handler. Unfortunately not 100% compatible with the CGI module.
This plugin needs to be updated. So far we have tested 120+ plugins. Help in testing (and fixing where needed) is greatly appreciated.

Any update on this debug? I've been poking around some, but as I noted above I'm sort of learning Perl by trying to fix this. I haven't been able to crack it yet.
Thanks to all for your help.

Thanks for looking into this Justin. Main docs on new request/response handler are at
TWiki:Codev/EnginesAsContribs and
TWiki:Codev/TWikiStandAlone.
