If you paste text into the link target, it carries over formatting, breaking the link.
Test case:
- Using WYSIWYG editor, type this is twiki.org in bold (make text bold)
- Create a forced link: Type "[", "[", "http://", copy and past the bolded text twiki.org, type "][", type "link to twiki", "]", "]"
- Result: link to twiki

Oh, crap. I have absolutely no idea how to solve that, or even if we should. The use of TWiki forced links (using squabs) is a side-effect of the way the translators "tolerate" some TML mixed with the editable HTML. Really, someone adding a link should use the link button in the editor - in which case a paste works just fine e.g.
link to twiki
I hate bugs like this, because they are probably going to sit here for years without being fixed.
