At least in Firefox: attach an image to a topic, it will be appended to the text so will be the last item. In edit mode move the cursor beyond the image. You can't, even if you press return.

I noticed this also - the graphic only prohibits pressing enter though, not appending more text.
This hits the usecase of uploading an image and wanting to write something underneath it afterwards. My own workaround: Insert a letter before pressing enter and delete the letter again later. The bug is serious enough, though.

And i hit return after it. In firefox. No problemo.

Try again in exploder:
Yup, that's fine too.
Can you be more explicit about how to reproduce this problem please?

I see it in Firefox only, on mac and pc (version 2.0.0.6). This is what I see after an image has been attached, and in the edit screen:
Note the large vertical black line - that is the cursor (on explorer the cursor is just one line high). If I now enter return nothing happens. I need to enter a character, then move 1 char back, enter return.

The problem is the same with other stuff that are not text (the page ends in a link or other tag).

OK, the first thing to do is establish what you mean by "attach". Do you mean:
- You attach from the view screen using the "attach" button, and select "Create a link to the attached file"?
- You open TinyMCE and insert a link to an existing attachment by clicking without first clicking with the cursor?
- You open TinyMCE and click on the end of the topic and insert a link to an existing attachment by clicking ?
In either of 2 or 3, what is the last HTML thing in the topic before you add the image (use the HTML button)
I see the behaviour you describe if I do (3) where the end of the topic is plain text, but only on Firefox under windows (works fine on Linux). But your cases might be different.

I only did scenario 1.

Are you
sure - 'cos your example above looks more like scenario 3?

I am sure: I haven't touched Tiny's attach yet.

Then how did you manage to get that image in the topic at the end like that? Because if you select "add a link", you get a whol bunch of other furniture that means the image
cannot be the last thing in the topic.....

Go to Attach. Check "Create a link to the attached file" and upload graphic image. Then click Edit.

I cannot reproduce this atm, cursor willingly moves on after attaching (ff2/win).
