Detail

Some empty lines are currently added to pages, typically 1 or 2 extra empty lines are added to start of output, which means some RSS parsers fail to read WebRss.

For instance Firefox 2.0 complains:

XML Parsing Error: xml declaration not at start of external entity
Location: http://bugs.wikiring.com/cgi-bin/view/Bugs/WebRss
Line Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="" ?>
                        ^

Page output is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="" ?>
<rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xmlns="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/"
....

Last seen in r14023.
