Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

You %INCLUDE% some text which is subject to some manipulation, say by a plugin; e.g., TWiki:Plugins.SectionalEditPlugin may indicate that the last section of the included topic is editable. However, once the text is included, we have no more visibility what that last section was, as it now extends into the including text (same for the first section). But if we want to edit that section properly, we need to know where to stop, as otherwise half of the text is in the including topic, and half in the included topic. How can one sensibly edit that together?

This whole business about included topics is still a big mess. There actually is a stack of topics that results from inclusion which must be maintained to properly handle context. All that is gone after the commonTagsHandler.

Any plugin that needs to know the real topic that text came from (e.g., when editing it) and must operate after the commonTagsHandler is forced to recreate that topic stack somehow).

For some more detail and a solution to most of these issues, please see TWiki:Codev.NeedBeforeIncludeHandler.
