I am installing a virgin TWiki from SVN.
I have checked 15 times now that the bin/LocalLib.cfg contains
$twikiLibPath = "/var/www/twiki/lib";
My twiki installation is in /var/www/MAIN
and I have a symbolic link /var/www/twiki that point to /var/www/MAIN
All completely like I have always done it.
But configure will not start. It fails with
"Error: Could not find where
LocalSite.cfg is supposed to go. Use your
LocalLib.cfg to set $twikiLibPath to the 'lib' directory for your install. Please correct this error before continuing."
If I try to create a completely empty
LocalSite.cfg in lib then I get a different error message which means that configure does find the right path in
LocalLib.cfg and that the error it gives is bogus.
I have done a chown -R apache:apache /var/www/MAIN
And I have checked the access rights. There are no errors in the Apache log.
If I put an old
LocalSite.cfg in lib then configure runs. So there is for sure a new bug in configure.

Yes, it was looking for TWiki.cfg when it should have been looking for TWiki.spec.
Because of where this impinged, I also checked in the checker for the passthrough dir, and some minor tweaks to DEPENDENCIES that have been waiting for ages, and it wasn't worth separating from the checkin.
