Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

Two or three times I apparently marked existing or moved sites as obsolete which apparently weren't, I assume due to changed URLs or having moved behind a firewall (or, of course, the site might have been down when I checked it). If the list is to be kept accurate, there ought to be an intermediate step which marks a site as "possibly obsolete", which can then be followed up on (or changed to either active or obsolete by the person who entered it originally).

It's not good to have links to dead sites or (especially!) sites that are now using something other than TWiki, but it's also not good to mark them as obsolete if they aren't. I should have thought of this earlier during my spring cleaning effort, but better late than never. (Unfortunately this sort of grunt work tends to be done when the brain isn't up to anything more interesting, so better to build in a precaution to try and prevent errors.)

At any rate, I don't seem to have the privileges to change the form, so I'm posting this as a bug so that whoever can make this change does so.

On a related matter, if anyone knows a way to get the 660 or so sites that are findable through Google added to the installation list, that would also be a very good thing. My Google-fu isn't good enough for this, but doing it manualy doesn't make a lot of sense either. Only a small percentage of that total are entered at the moment and obviously the larger the number of sites we list the better.

I have no idea what you are talking about. There is no TWikiInstallationForm in the shipped documentation set, AFAIK. This bug DB is for tracking the contents of the shipped installation, not the fallback documentaion on t.o, if that is where you found this doc.

Discarded.

I'm talking about TWiki:TWiki.TWikiInstallationForm, which is used to construct TWiki:Main.TWikiInstallation entries.

If not here, what is the procedure to report bugs in twiki.org itself?
