I've been using Dakar rc1 and rc2 and noticed that the default skin,
PatternSkin, doesn't display a table of contents properly. I'll be attaching an image of what it looks like. This happens after upgrading from Cairo. It also, doesn't indent sub webs in the left bar as the documentation suggests. Sub webs appear at the same level as its parent web.

What browser are you using, on what platform? This might be an upgrade issue. Could you try a fresh install?
It looks normal to me using Firefox 1.0.7 on Windows XP.

Could it be a caching issue, that your browser still reads
style.css
from its cache?
AC
I have found the same problem in Dakar betas and RC1, RC2. It seems style-related, but it's not a caching problem. It works fine if I browse a fresh dakar install, but not after upgrading a Cairo wiki from the same fresh dakar install.

More info: If I take a fresh Dakar install and simply copy data/MYWEB and pub/MYWEB from my Cairo release, the TOC style problems manifest. If I then simply delete those two directories, all is well again.

What is MYWEB and what is in it? --
AC
Sorry - I used MYWEB as an example name. It's just a web (actually called Reporting), alongside Main and TWiki. --

John, please zip and upload a minimal web that demonstrates the problem - perhaps just
WebHome /
WebPreferences. Sounds like userstyles or css sheets are being overridden in some way.

I had the same problem but it went away after I copied ./pub/TWiki from the original distribution to the upgraded distribution. Apparently the upgrade script copies the layouts from the old installation to the new one

New bug entry (
Item1584):
Upgrade script copies the layouts (PatternSkin css) from the old installation to the new one
AC
There is a bug item that covers the specific issue. And no feedback for more than a month from Reporter. I cannot see what is left to do here so I change it to discard.
